	Nous proposons un service de création d’images sur mesure pour l'architecture et la décoration d’intérieur, où l’art et l’architecture fusionnent pour créer une expérience esthétique unique. Tout comme l’architecture, les images présentes dans un espace ont un impact durable, générant une signification qui évolue et perdure dans le temps.
Notre savoir-faire s'inspire de la tradition ancestrale qui a toujours poussé l’Homme à intégrer des images dans les lieux de son existence. Des peintures rupestres aux fresques des églises, en passant par les murales, l’image a depuis toujours donné une voix aux espaces habités.C’est la passion pour l’art et l’étude de cette tradition qui nous ont convaincus de nous spécialiser dans ce service de décoration.

Photographe d’espaces depuis vingt ans, j’ai développé une véritable fascination pour la fonction des images dans notre quotidien.

Dans notre société de consommation rapide d’images, je suis particulièrement intrigué par les effets à long terme qu’une image peut avoir sur notre esprit.
 Ce n’est pas un rapport de connaissance lié à la compréhension de ce qui est représenté qui est en jeu. L’image parle en effet un langage différent à notre conscience, où l’évocation prime sur la rationalité.

Le même stimulus perceptif généré par une image avec laquelle on cohabite peut avoir un effet pendant des années, devenir une partie de nous, changer notre perception de nous-mêmes et s'intégrer à notre façon de voir les choses, de la même manière que nos expériences ou notre façon d’être.
D’un côté, cette expérience est certainement subjective, liée à la personnalité de chacun, et parle un langage artistique du sensible, mais, tout comme l'architecture, la maîtrise de la décoration des espaces peut avoir une fonction plus générale, en caractérisant un espace qui n’a pas encore d’usager prédéfini. 
On peut alors imaginer ce qui est le plus pertinent pour un hôpital ou une église. C’est dans ce domaine qu’une réalisation porte une grande responsabilité, car, tout comme pour l’architecture, nous créons un cadre qui, pendant des années, accompagnera la vie des personnes.

Notre service de décoration par l’image dépasse la simple acquisition d'œuvres d'art pour embellir les intérieurs.
 Il s’agit d’un processus collaboratif qui vise à développer, avec les architectes et les usagers, un véritable complément esthétique pour les espaces, en s’appuyant sur un message ou une atmosphère spécifique. 
Chaque image est conçue pour s’intégrer harmonieusement à l’environnement et renforcer l’identité du lieu.

Notre processus se déroule en plusieurs étapes :

Brainstorming initial : Nous commençons par échanger avec les architectes et les usagers pour comprendre les idées, les besoins et les valeurs que l’espace doit transmettre.Immersion dans l’espace : Une phase d’observation et de repérage, au cours de laquelle nous nous imprégnons de l’atmosphère des lieux pour comprendre comment les images peuvent s’y intégrer harmonieusement.Choix de la forme d’exposition, du papier peinte au cadre...Choix d’images d’archive ou realisation de prises de vue sur themes pertinents au lieu.Simulations et rendus : Nous présentons des rendus des images intégrées dans leur futur espace, accompagnés de propositions de formats, de supports d’impression et de choix de présentation (cadres, matériaux, etc.).Validation et production : Après validation, les images finales sont produites et installées dans l’espace, créant ainsi un lien visuel entre l’architecture, l’art et le bien-être des usagers.
Pour l'intérieur d'une cave en Provence, la création d'images pourrait s'articuler autour du paysage environnant, des vignobles, et des processus de vinification. Les prises de vue permettraient de développer une série cohérente, en accord avec l’identité de la cave. L’intégration des images dans l’espace ne se limite pas au choix du sujet, mais s’étend également aux matériaux d’impression, aux formats et aux cadres, contribuant à une harmonie visuelle globale.

	L’histoire de la pratique humaine de placer ou créer des images dans les espaces habités remonte à la préhistoire et se poursuit jusqu'à nos jours, marquant les étapes majeures de l’évolution culturelle et artistique de l'humanité.
1. Peintures rupestres : Le besoin de symboliser (30 000 av. J.-C. à 10 000 av. J.-C.)
Les premières manifestations de l’art dans les espaces habités apparaissent dans les grottes préhistoriques, comme celles de Lascaux en France ou d'Altamira en Espagne. Les humains du Paléolithique supérieur peignaient des scènes de chasse, des animaux et des symboles mystérieux. Pendant le Moyen Âge, la plupart des images dans les espaces habités sont à but religieux. Au 19e siècle, les peintures dans les espaces privés deviennent de plus en plus accessibles à la bourgeoisie. Le papier peint avec des motifs floraux, les scènes pastorales ou les reproductions d'œuvres classiques décorent les salons, les chambres et les halls. 	L'épyphylogenèse est un concept élaboré par le philosophe et anthropologue français Bernard Stiegler. Ce terme est issu de la théorie de la technique et de l'évolution humaine.


Pour résumer, l'épyphylogenèse se réfère à l’idée selon laquelle les techniques et les outils créés par les êtres humains forment une sorte de "mémoire extérieure", qui évolue au fil du temps parallèlement à l'évolution biologique. Contrairement aux génomes, qui transmettent l’information biologique, les techniques (comme les outils, les technologies, les formes de culture) transmettent une information externe, qui influence les comportements, la pensée et les pratiques humaines sur plusieurs générations.

Stiegler place donc l’épyphylogenèse au centre de l’évolution humaine : elle représente la façon dont l'humanité se transforme en développant des techniques et des connaissances, et en les intégrant à son mode de vie et à sa culture.

L'Antiquité : espace comme ordre cosmiquePlaton décrit l’espace dans le Timée comme une "chôra", une sorte de réceptacle ou de contenant pour les formes, sans substance propre mais nécessaire pour que les choses aient un lieu où exister.Aristote voit l’espace comme une topos (lieu), lié à la matière, où chaque chose occupe une position relative aux autres dans un cadre ordonné. Pour lui, l’espace est intrinsèquement lié aux objets physiques et ne peut exister indépendamment d’eux.2. La pensée médiévale : espace et théologieDans la philosophie médiévale, notamment chez Thomas d’Aquin, l’espace est souvent conçu à travers un prisme théologique, où l’idée d’espace est liée à celle du cosmos comme création divine. L’espace est perçu comme subordonné aux plans divins et comme étant fini.3. L'époque moderne : l’espace absolu et relatifRené Descartes contribue à la vision mécanique de l’espace en le concevant comme une étendue tridimensionnelle. Pour lui, l’espace et la matière sont liés, et l’espace est infini et homogène.Isaac Newton introduit la notion d’espace absolu, distinct des objets qu’il contient. La phénoménologie : espace vécu et perceptionEdmund Husserl et Maurice Merleau-Ponty redéfinissent l’espace à travers l'expérience subjective et corporelle. L'espace devient ici le monde perçu, vécu à travers le corps. L’espace en physique moderne et la relativitéBien que la question dépasse le domaine philosophique pur, des philosophes se sont interrogés sur les implications des théories de la relativité d’Einstein, où l’espace et le temps sont intégrés dans un même continuum espace-temps. Cette vision influence aussi des philosophes contemporains en questionnant la nature même de l’espace tel que le percevait Kant, remettant en cause l'idée de l'espace comme cadre stable et invariable.

Cela vaut autant pour le contexte éditorial que pour celui d’une exposition. L’histoire et la pensée que dessine Ethica s’appuie ainsi sur des choix de cadrage impliquant des distances, des angles ou encore des ampleurs du champ visuel (rapports spatiaux) ainsi que sur une certaine disposition successive et donc inévitablement chronologique des images (rapports temporels). Par ailleurs, la résonance cinématographique qu’on peut deviner derrière ces termes n’est pas si étrangère à l’esthétique des images découpées systématiquement en plusieurs tableaux par l’auteur jusqu’à l’évocation d’un ruban de photogrammes se déroulant à travers les pages. Mais qu’est-ce qui pourrait être mis en mouvement, en termes de récit et de réflexion, dans la séquence de photographies du recueil ?

On atterrit dans un monde végétal, météorologique et minéral, où règnent les lignes nettes et sinueuses des pins maritimes à côté des écheveaux organiques du maquis, contre les traces aériennes du ciel. Ces éléments ne sont pas le fond d’une quelconque figure protagoniste au premier plan, d’une certaine action qui saisirait l’attention. On dirait plutôt que le milieu dans son ensemble – et les arbres en particulier – se fait le protagoniste de l’image : celle-ci est taillée sur la présence environnementale, l’œil de l’appareil convoque et observe ce corps collectif, avec une curiosité spécifique pour ses composantes végétales. Que la photographie soit l’espace où devient perceptible un fond sensible faisant l’objet d’une négligence routinière, c’est la conviction que Luca Nicolao met à l’œuvre régulièrement dans ses opérations créatives. Mais cette fois, en sortant de l’environnement architectural qui constitue son terrain de prédilection, il s’aventure dans des paysages moins urbains. S’il s’agit en général de saisir et d’exposer une présence fugitive du lieu (genius loci), ici il est plus spécifiquement question de retenir quelque chose qui anime – et envoute presque – le contexte forestier d’une pinède (genius luci).

Le regard feuillette et traverse en éclaireur cette planète silencieuse, aucun signe de vie humaine : le noir et blanc semble nous inviter à croire à quelque chose de primitif, qui précède notre espèce, une sorte de réminiscence préhistorique, un univers fossile. Et si ce n’est pas une planète étrangère mais plutôt un lieu éminemment terrestre, les bribes de côtes entraperçus feraient penser à une île perdue quelque part dans le temps et dans l’espace. Avant l’humain, ou encore après lui : l’extinction, l’effondrement n’est pas à exclure et des quasi-ruines viendront étayer le doute. Il peut aussi bien se faire, suivant l’ordre de la Nature, que l’humain existe, qu’il peut se faire qu’il n’existe pas – on cite. Débordements exotiques de l’œil et de la tête, déjà prêts à s’embarquer dans une rêverie fantastique&#38;nbsp;bercé par Swift, Butler, Dafoe et compagnie. Nous voyageons au pays de ces géants fantasques et perchés, au corps subtil et à l’imposant couvre-chef, que sont les conifères méditerranéens.

Un accident arrive, il doit arriver dans chaque conte boisé : quelque chose se manifeste. Une étrange bestiole apparait, elle se faufile empressée et discrète au bord de l’image, en bas de notre champ visuel magnétisé par le paysage végétal. Ce sont des présences humaines, qui s’insinuent au pied des silhouettes imperturbables des sapins maritimes : on dirait les jeunes protagonistes égarés d’une de ces nombreuses fables qui nous ramènent dans l’espace métamorphique et refoulé des forets. Des petits Chaperons Rouges, des Petits Poucets… Ces présences humaines poussent soudaines et colorés, comme des champignons aux premières pluies.&#38;nbsp; A-t-elle, cette espèce, le destin éphémère et fragile qui accompagne l’espèce fongique, qui sait&#38;nbsp;: comme elle apparait, elle peut aussi s’éclipser – et on terminera la séquence, en effet, par un retour au monde des plantes dépouillé de l’humain.

Mais ce n’est pas la mauvaise saison qui sonne à la porte avec ses intempéries, c’est plutôt le temps solaire des vacances. Maintenant, le ton change rapidement : de l’ambiance impassible et silencieuse, de l’allure austère et presque sacrée du monde des plantes et de l’air, nous voici projeté dans l’atmosphère triviale et profane de la – si humaine – sortie à la plage en famille. Là, s’il y a un peu du cinéma, alors c’est un film à la Jacques Tati : cadrage distancié, plans larges et paysagers, figures humaines anonymes dans leur fourmilière d’interactions, qu’on mate de loin avec un sourire au coin de la bouche. L’humour ne grince pas amer, ni il n'attaque féroce. Les images chatouillent le regard, suscitent une ironie attendrie pour ces figures dont la vacance pourrait s’entendre comme le manque d’une errance. À moitié perdu dans le milieu qui l’enveloppe dans le cadre ample de la photographie, la société du dimanche qui se réunit pour une baignade et un peu de bronzage constitue une drôle de parodie de le communauté politique évoqué par le texte philosophique. Une grande partie du comique très jouissif que vibre dans cette éditoriale se génère précisément au niveau de l’aller-retour – à la fois énigmatique, parfaitement harmonique et en contradiction électrique – entre la photographie et la sentence abstraites.

Tellement risible et parfaitement naturelle, cette humanité en vacances, au repos. Probablement aucun geste incarne autant le désir réflexif de toute vie naturelle – au-delà de tout principe et but généraux – de prendre soin de son existence afin de le préserver : ce dont les actes de se nourrir ou de se reposer sont les signes primordiaux. La baignade avec transat et magazines (sans oublier le piquenique) – rituel si italien – représente le déploiement plein et spontané du conatus de l’espèce. Alors, une résonance harmonique semble se mettre en place entre l’existence paisible et inéluctable du paysage initial et le désœuvrement vacancier des habitants de la plage : ces êtres humains ayant abandonné toute prétention frénétique, pleinement voué à un exercice de néotenie – enfantin, donc – glissent ainsi dans le paysage naturel avec la même douceur des couleurs qui trament les images. Ce qui se perd, au milieu du bois, c’est le fil de l’Histoire, celle humaine. Ainsi l’humain peut se relâcher, se perdre lui aussi au sein de la nature. Comme dans un éternel congé, on évapore dans une infinité naturelle plus vaste, dont l’absence de fin ne nous renvoie aucunement au distant et au céleste, mais à l’existant et au présent.

Une espèce d’égalité s’installe entre ce qui environne et ceux qui sont environnés, à la place d’une tension potentielle que nous étions déjà en train de suggérer. L’éventuel empire que l’être humain fantasmerait d’établir au sein de l’empire naturel (ce que l’Ethica tentait de déjouer avec sa sagesse géométrique) devient ici un empire de glacières et de parasols : aucune revendication impériale et colonisatrice semble subsister auprès de cette humanité qu’on observe presque à la loupe. Elle fond dans le naturel dans une grimace presque burlesque. Une esquisse d’éthique environnementale se dessine dans l’histoire et la pensée qui se montrent entre les images de Luca Nicolao et les extraits de Baruch Spinoza. Une ethica ecologica more photografico demonstrata.

Sous Mussolini, plus de 150 villes nouvelles sont construites sur la péninsule italienne et ses îles, dans le but de repeupler les campagnes, de coloniser le marais récemment asséchés et de développer les zones minières nécessaires à une économie autosuffisante.

Loin de la rhétorique monumentale des centres urbains,l’architecture de ces villages a été confiée à un groupe d’architectes talentueux, souvent d’origine juive, qui adhéraient à l’utopie d’une architecture combinant esthétique et fonctionnalité, vouée à la transmission de valeurs éthiques et communautaires.

Ce mouvement, qui s’étend des années 1920 aux années 1930, a donné naissance au mouvement RATIONALISTE italien. Cependant, l’adoption des lois raciales en 1936 et l’alliance avec l’Allemagne ont mis fin à cette expérience.

Les villes issues de ce projet ont connu des sorts&#38;nbsp;variés : certaines sont tombées en ruines, tandis que&#38;nbsp;d’autres sont devenues des centres prospères protégés&#38;nbsp;par l’UNESCO.


	Under Mussolini, more than 150 new towns were built on the Italian peninsula and its islands, with the aim of repopulating the countryside, colonising and develop the mining areas needed for a self-sufficient economy.
Far from the monumental rhetoric of urban centres, the architecture of these villages was entrusted to a group of talented architects, often of Jewish origin, who embraced the utopia of an architecture combining aesthetics and functionality, dedicated to the transmission of ethical and community values.
This movement, which lasted from the 1920s to the 1930s, gave rise to the Italian RATIONALIST movement. However, the adoption of racial laws in 1936 and the alliance with Germany put an end to this experiment.The towns that grew out of this project have had varying fates: some have fallen into ruin, while others have become prosperous centres protected by UNESCO.

Le Panorama de Paris ici présenté décrit une étendue bien plus importante qu’un simple tour de périphérique.
Tout en s’inscrivant, pour sa rigueur formelle, dans le sillage de l’école documentaire italienne de Basilico et Niedmayer, Luca Nicolao trace ici un voyage temporel dans la&#38;nbsp;capitale qui n’est pas sans rappeler le fameux vers de Baudelaire : « la forme d'une ville&#38;nbsp;change plus vite, hélas ! que le coeur d'un mortel »1.

Plus que d’une géographie de la ville, nous y verrions donc plutôt une description archéologique de son présent, ainsi qu’une image de son avenir. Or, l’habilité du photographe&#38;nbsp;est de minimiser cette étendue temporelle dans un flux presque imperceptible, si semblable à&#38;nbsp;notre attention inégale, passive et dispersive.

Nous commençons en quelque sorte par un passé proche, avec les barres d’immeubles en bordure du périphérique des années ‘50 - constructions désavouées que l’extension de Paris&#38;nbsp;voudrait détruire, transformer, oublier. On ressent beaucoup d’intimité dans le regard de&#38;nbsp;Nicolao envers ces seuils de la ville et les vies qui y circulent. « C’est un bruit de fond, une&#38;nbsp;perception distraite, une expérience esthétique instable, anesthésiante. C’est la bande visuelle&#38;nbsp;de nos existences » dit-il en arpenteur de l’urbain, oeil qui se fond dans l’anonymat du&#38;nbsp;paysage.

Nicolao guette la surprise pour mieux saisir l’ordinaire : des visages en chemin, un mouvement incessant, indifférent à la monumentalité qui l’entoure. Le champs contre champs&#38;nbsp;transforme ici la valeur des échelles : de ces grilles verticales et monochromes on passe à&#38;nbsp;l’expérience esthétique du passant, fait d’une horizontalité grouillante de bruits, odeurs,&#38;nbsp;regards croisés, trajets ininterrompus.

Puis, par un glissement presque anodin, nous changeons de paradigme, les immeubles haussmanniens traçant la voie jusqu’au centre historique et son présent continuel, figé dans son spectacle qui se réitère jour après jour. Dans ces sites où le tourisme de masse a investi&#38;nbsp;chaque parcelle de la ville l’ironie du photographe devient alors plus perceptible et la&#38;nbsp;confusion entre reflet et réalité presque palpable. Concorde, Tuileries, Tour Eiffel…l’auteur&#38;nbsp;se prend aussi à ce jeu autoréférentiel, sans pourtant jamais quitter sa rigueur documentaire,&#38;nbsp;aussi impitoyable envers son sujet qu’envers nous qui le regardons avec incrédulité et&#38;nbsp;émerveillement. Es ce bien cela Paris?

Encore plus que cela. Un arrêt de métro plus tard, et nous voilà dans son futur. Bâtis sur les ruines du passé, les nouveaux éco quartiers sont les paradigmes d’une réalité dessinée sur&#38;nbsp;écran. Les gestes, les attitudes des gens répondent en tout point à ce programme visuel,&#38;nbsp;comme si vraiment l’architecture pouvait à elle seule disposer de nos corps, les agencer&#38;nbsp;ensemble, fonder une communauté à partir d’individus.

C’est sur sa fin que la série prend une allure presque philosophique, prophétique du sens que Walter Benjamin donnait à l’architecture, comme image présente des projections du demain,&#38;nbsp;rêve ou cauchemar devenu matière et que seul l’oeil mécanique de la photographie est capable&#38;nbsp;de restituer à nous les humains, les passants, les hommes et femmes distraits des villes&#38;nbsp;contemporaines.

The Panorama of Paris presented here describes an area much larger than a simple tour of the ring road.
While following in the footsteps of the Italian documentary school of Basilico and Niedmayer in terms of formal rigour, Luca Nicolao traces a temporal journey through the capital that is reminiscent of Baudelaire's famous line: "the shape of a city changes more quickly, alas! than the heart of a mortal "1 .
Rather than a geography of the city, we would see in it an archaeological description of its present, as well as an image of its future. Yet the photographer's skill is to minimize this temporal expanse into an almost imperceptible flow, so similar to our uneven, passive and dispersive attention.We begin, as it were, in the near past, with the building blocks on the edge of the ring road in the 1950s - disowned constructions that the expansion of Paris would like to destroy, transform, forget. There is a great deal of intimacy in Nicolao's view of these thresholds of the city and the lives that move through them. "It is a background noise, a distracted perception, an unstable, anaesthetic aesthetic experience. It is the visual strip of our existences," he says as a surveyor of the urban, an eye that melts into the anonymity of the landscape.Nicolao watches for the surprise to better capture the ordinary: faces on the way, an incessant movement, indifferent to the monumentality that surrounds it. The field against field transforms here the value of scales: from these vertical and monochrome grids we pass to the aesthetic experience of the passer-by, made of a horizontality swarming with noises, smells, crossed glances, uninterrupted journeys.Then, by an almost harmless shift, we change paradigm, the Haussmannian buildings tracing the path to the historic centre and its continuous present, frozen in its spectacle that repeats itself day after day. In these sites where mass tourism has taken over every part of the city, the photographer's irony becomes more perceptible and the confusion between reflection and reality almost palpable. Concorde, Tuileries, Eiffel Tower...the author also plays this self-referential game, without ever leaving his documentary rigour, as ruthless towards his subject as towards us who look at him with incredulity and wonder. Is this Paris?
More than that. One metro stop later, and we are in its future. Built on the ruins of the past, the new eco-neighbourhoods are the paradigms of a reality drawn on screen. The gestures and attitudes of the people respond in every way to this visual programme, as if architecture alone could dispose of our bodies, arrange them together, found a community from individuals.
It is at the end that the series takes on an almost philosophical aspect, prophetic of the meaning that Walter Benjamin gave to architecture, as a present image of tomorrow's projections, a dream or nightmare that has become matter and that only the mechanical eye of photography is capable of restoring to us humans, the passers-by, the distracted men and women of contemporary cities.
